Becht and Eddyfi Technologies partner to improve safety of coke drums

As part of the Becht Coker Workshop in Sugar Land, TX, within BECHT's 60th anniversary framework, Mark Carte of Becht Engineering and Bruce Stetler of Eddyfi Technologies presented an innovative technology for the inspection of coke drums. Spyne Technology, with its 128-channel Eddy Current Array (ECA) coil array, can detect cracks and other defects inside the drum, even in the base material. This technology offers fast and efficient inspection, crucial to the safety of coking operations. Carte and Stetler stressed the importance of collaboration between companies to develop technological solutions that benefit the oil industry.
