The Southwest Research Institute(SwRI) announces the expansion of its capabilities to test megawatt-scale heat exchangers. This recent capability places the Institute among the few facilities in the world with capabilities to evaluate thermal equipment under high-demand heat transfer conditions.
Tests on heat exchangers
SwRI’ s infrastructure has been tailored to enable the evaluation of customized thermal systems ranging from tens of kilowatts to several megawatts. These tests are designed to address specific technical requirements of sectors such as aerospace, defense, data centers and energy industries, where thermal systems must withstand high heat loads without operational failure.
