The British company Humanoid has presented a visual preview of its project: the development of a human-robot ready to coexist with us in real situations. This new video teaser offers a glimpse into an immediate future where robots collaborate with other people in everyday activities.
The “human-robot” vision for real life
The company aims to create applicable solutions right out of the box. For example, its first robot, the HMND 01, will feature a modular design compatible with wheels and legs, making it versatile for multiple industries. The initial focus includes pick and place tasks, particularly in logistics, manufacturing and retail.

The HMND 01 is distinguished by a design that makes it easy to adapt to different locations. The choice of a wheeled platform meets the criteria of rapid implementation: more than 80 % of the cases in logistics can be solved with this configuration. In addition, its user-friendly appearance is designed to promote smooth interaction between humans and robots.
Unlike many other humanoid robotics companies, we developed this human-robot with the goal of solving real problems with practical, market-ready solutions, rather than limiting ourselves to laboratory research.
I believe we are entering a new era in which robots will work with humans, performing repetitive tasks. This is the main reason I founded the company: to free people from difficult and monotonous tasks.
