UK electrolysis technology manufacturer Clean Power Hydrogen(CPH2) has entered into its first licensed manufacturing partnership with Hidrigin, a trading name of Lisheen H2 Energy Park Limited. Together, they will develop a complete design and technical documentation package for the manufacture of the MFE220 model electrolyzer in Ireland.
The first licensed manufacturing partnership
The collaboration between the two companies is based on a long-term license agreement with a scope of up to 2 gigawatts. This agreement allows the Irish company, together with its industrial partner Jones Engineering, to begin preparatory work to establish its manufacturing capacity.
[post_relacionado]Through a model focused on licenses, CPH2 seeks to scale its technology without the need for direct investments in infrastructure, relying on local knowledge and the installed capacity of its partners.
With the license in Hidrigin’s hands, the company has begun work on personnel training, supplier selection and production plant design in conjunction with Jones Engineering. Manufacturing of the MFE220 electrolyzers is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the first units expected to be commissioned in 2026.

The partnership with Hidrigin is the first of several that CPH2 expects to activate in 2025, as part of its internationalization strategy through sublicensing. This model provides industrial partners with a solution that includes everything from 3D designs to detailed bills of materials and safety specifications.
