This battery system was developed by Arevon, a company with a strong presence in the renewable energy market in the United States. The Barrio Logan installation is equipped with lithium iron phosphate technology, known for its high performance and safety.

With an investment of US$300 million, the project has generated employment during construction and projects tax benefits of more than US$28 million throughout its operation. Arevon maintains a zero-incident policy for its systems and ensures its commitment to the safety of the communities in which it operates.
Large-scaleenergy storage like Peregrine’s allows more renewable energy to be integrated into the grid, storing solar or wind production during off-peak hours and distributing it when it is most needed. The system also facilitates greater energy autonomy and supports the state’s climate goals.
