In a recent interview with Gavin Dao, Director of Business Development for The Phased Array Company ( TPAC ) at the AMPP 2025 event, he highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing and optimizing the boundaries of inspection technology, particularly in terms of resolution, speed, and data acquisition.

The TPAC representative detailed the success rate of their ultrasound systems , allowing for a greater amount of data to be transmitted from the instruments to the processing equipment, resulting in high-resolution images.

This ability to maintain the instruments’ compact size is essential for their integration with field robotics, facilitating their use in industries where portability is vital.
What we’ve done is increase the data rate of our instruments. The more data we have, the higher the image resolution.

For its part, TPAC focuses on advanced solutions for customers who require more than standard products. By allowing great flexibility in its modular software and hardware , the company is able to offer its customers customized configurations, tailoring systems to specific inspection needs.
Finally, the growing interest in artificial intelligence has motivated the company to explore various applications of this technology internally. However, TPAC has not yet launched any AI-based products.
