Shearwater Geoservices has been selected to conduct a 3D seismic survey in the Indian Ocean, specifically off the east coast of India. This project is licensed by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation ( ONGC ), and has an area scope of over 2,200 square kilometers, with a duration of approximately four months, starting in early 2025.

The Oceanic Sirius probe , a state-of-the-art vessel with professional measurement technology, will be tasked with carrying out seismic exploration in this vast area, providing critical data that will enhance the development of geophysical investigations. This operation aligns with Shearwater’s track record of 8 consecutive seasons of successful operations offshore India.
