YPF has completed the drilling of the longest lateral branch in the history of the Vaca Muerta field. The LLL-1861(h) well , located in Loma Campana, reached a lateral length of 4,948 meters and a total extension of 8,264 meters.

This achievement was accomplished in just 27 days, using advanced real-time technology that allowed adjustments to be made to the original design while the oil well was being drilled . Furthermore, the optimization allowed the operational flow to be controlled, achieving the recorded goal.
