The objective of flight tests
In the coming months, Boom is scheduled to expand the scope of testing of the XB-1 . The objective is to verify its performance and maneuverability in conditions that transcend Mach 1, while evaluating all onboard systems and ensuring operational integrity in extreme conditions.
Between 10 and 20 test flights are anticipated before reaching supersonic speeds. Each flight has specific objectives, including testing of the landing gear and flap excitation system, to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the prototype under real operating conditions.
