Wison New Energies(WNE) has signed the Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS) for the development of a new FLNG plant in Block 52, offshore Suriname. This agreement represents the advancement and consolidation in the floating liquefied natural gas(FLNG) floating solutions market.
WNE drives FLNG contract development
The plant will be located approximately 120 kilometers offshore and will take advantage of the potential of the Sloanea field, located at a depth of 450 meters. The main objective is clear: to obtain gas from the subsea production system, process it to produce liquefied natural gas(LNG) and condensate, supplying both the domestic market and international customers.

In addition, the implementation of highly efficient pre-engineered solutions aligned perfectly with the client’s needs, strengthening our value proposition.
The Detailed Feasibility Study will serve as the basis for the Front End Engineering Design(FEED) study. In this way, the country will be able to consolidate its position as a strategic center for offshore gas development, strengthening its position in global clean energy supply chains.
