The CSignum company has launched its new EM-2 wireless platform , designed to facilitate the transmission of data from IoT sensors and controls from the surface to the seabed. According to the company, the EM-2 uses electromagnetic fields to transmit data through media such as water, ice, concrete and rocks , thereby overcoming the limitations of traditional wireless technologies. Thanks to electromagnetic field signaling ( EMFS ), data can be transmitted from beneath the water surface or subsurface with exceptional reliability.

Its communication method based on electromagnetic fields facilitates efficient data transmission through various mixed media.
