With the new RoRo design inspired by the Sleipner concept, Wallenius Marine and Knud E. Hansen are committed to a vessel model prepared for the environmental and logistical challenges of short sea shipping.
The concept, developed from the operational experience with the Future Way and Way Forward vessels, incorporates an architecture that optimizes both cargo space and port operations. Thanks to the location of the engine room at the bow, the vessel frees up the main deck to its full width, achieving 2720 linear meters of capacity, equivalent to 181 tows.
