In Hoogstede, the company Thyssengas has started work on the conversion of a section of its pipeline network. This cross-border project, between Vlieghuis in the Netherlands and Ochtrup in Germany, will enable large-scale hydrogen transport.

This 53 km section, which currently transports natural gas, is being adapted for a new function.
