French company SeaBubbles continues to surprise water transport with its electric hydrofoil, the Smart Bubble . This marine craft is designed to carry up to seven passengers, including the pilot, allowing you to literally fly over the waves at speeds of up to 30 km/h .

This new model is an improved and expanded version of the original Bubble , which debuted in 2021. While its predecessor could seat four passengers and reach a cruising speed of 22 km/h, the Smart Bubble has increased its performance, following the integration of its new, more advanced hydrofoils and a patented retractable foil system, which improve both stability and energy efficiency.
[post_relacionado]At speeds of 10 knots ( 19 km/h ), the Smart Bubble lifts its hull out of the water, “flying on its three hydrofoils” , allowing for a much smoother ride with less water resistance. This system, which uses gyroscopic and altitude sensors to maintain balance, ensures a journey free of the usual disturbances of waves, with the added benefit of being almost silent.
SeaBubbles’ commitment to sustainability is clear: powered by a 90 kWh battery, the Smart Bubble produces no carbon emissions , and a version with a 130 kWh battery is expected to further extend its range.
Expansion with the acquisition of Neocean
An important step for the company was the acquisition of Neocean , a company specializing in maritime mobility technologies . This integration will allow it to continue developing innovations in the sector, consolidating its leadership in sustainable aquatic solutions.

On the other hand, commercial production of the Smart Bubble is expected to increase progressively, while providing a new option for water transport in the future. Now, the technology is not only in the seas, but on them, with proposals that seek performance, and also a positive environmental impact.
