There’s a new job opportunity for those interested in being part of the future of robotics. Tesla is hiring people to work as “robot trainers,” specifically for its humanoid Optimus . The position, available in Palo Alto, California, offers a salary between $25.25 and $48 per hour , plus cash and stock awards.

The work involves the use of motion capture suits and virtual reality headsets. virtual reality to guide Optimus’ movements and actions, requiring applicants to be between 5’7″ and 5’11” tall and have the ability to carry up to 30 pounds of equipment while walking for more than 7 hours a day.
[post_relacionado]The work will be performed in three shifts (8 am to 4:30 pm, 4 pm to 12:30 am and 12 am to 8:30 am) and the successful candidates will be responsible for collecting crucial data, assisting with engineering requests and generating detailed reports on team performance.
Tesla stresses that this role demands adaptability and the ability to make data-driven decisions in a “dynamic, fast-paced work environment.” In addition, availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends when needed, will be required. Experience using virtual reality equipment will be considered a plus.
