Aerospace firm, Rocket Lab, has unveiled the launch of its new Standardized Array(STARRAY) customizable solar panels, under an announcement made during the 40th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.

This proposal is designed to meet energy demands ranging from 100 W to more than 2000 W. STARRAY panels integrate up to four panels per wing and use quadruple-junction solar cells.
[post_relacionado]The proposition is its unique vertically integrated manufacturing capability. In addition, the company produces from individual solar cells to completesolar panels, offering its customers reduced lead times and lower development costs, without sacrificing quality or reliability.
With more than two decades of experience, the company has outfitted essential space projects, including the James Webb Space TelescopeNASA lunar missions and the exploration of Mars. In addition, its solutions supply commercial satellite constellations such as OneWeb’s broadband Internet network.
Customers can choose from a range of pre-engineered solar panel configurations to meet their application needs while taking advantage of the flight-proven reliability, performance and speed of the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing.

Currently, more than 1100 satellites are orbiting with Rocket Lab solar technology, a number that is expected to increase as the demands for connectivity, earth observation and space exploration grow worldwide.
