German company Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) has made a mark in the space industry by becoming the first private European company to obtain a vertical launch licence . This approval, granted by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), will allow RFA to carry out launches from the SaxaVord spaceport, located in Scotland.
Launch license gives green light to RFA plan
With the space flight operator licence now in its hands, RFA strengthens Europe’s position in independent access to space.
