NexGen Energy announced the signing of a uranium supply and sales agreement with a U.S. utility company, with the goal of delivering one million pounds per year for five years. This commitment will begin in the first year of commercial production at the Rook I Project.
Contract duplicates uranium sales for NexGen
With this new agreement, NexGen is able to double the total contracted volume, establishing itself with greater leverage against future uranium price developments. The company also maintains 229.6 million pounds of uncommitted reserves, giving it the flexibility to maximize revenues as market conditions dictate.
