Japanese shipping company Mitsui OSK Lines, Ltd. (MOL) announced yesterday the completion of the Green Winds bulk carrier, a 63,896 DWT Ultramax vessel. Equipped with the innovative Wind Challenger wind propulsion system, the vessel was completed at the Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. facility in Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
MOL Drybulk Ltd., a subsidiary of the MOL Group, will be in charge of operating this advanced vessel.
Green Winds bulk carrier sets new standard
