Uber Boat by Thames Clippers has welcomed its third hybrid passenger ferry, the Mars Clipper, which is now sailing the waters of the River Thames. This modern catamaran, built by Wight Shipyard, joins the other two hybrid vessels in the fleet, Earth Clipper and Celestial Clipper, as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability and the emissions reduction.

The ferry is powered by a hybrid system developed in collaboration with Danfoss Power Solutions, which enables a remarkable 90% reduction inCO2 emissions compared to conventional river transport methods.
