The Government of Madhya Pradesh has formalized an agreement with Submer to deploy up to 1 GW of capacity in sustainable, liquid-cooled data centers designed for AI-intensive operations. The MoU was signed during Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s visit to Submer’s headquarters in Barcelona as part of the “Invest MP” initiative to attract foreign investment in the region.
Liquid cooling for sustainable data centers
With this collaboration, Madhya Pradesh establishes itself as a strategic hub in India’s digital transformation. The partnership seeks to strengthen the state’s data infrastructure through high-density, energy-efficient centers optimized for running artificial intelligence-based workloads.

These solutions will enable data centers to operate with zero water consumption, drastically minimizing the environmental footprint and improving overall energy efficiency.
The company will collaborate with state authorities to establish design standards in liquid cooling, encourage local production of components and train specialized talent. In addition, the goal is to develop a technological ecosystem that enables the scalability of sustainable data centers throughout the territory.
Some Submer spokespersons mentioned that this partnership goes beyond the technical. The main goal is to build a digital infrastructurethat integrates performance, sustainability and positive social impact.
