Lenovo unveils its first humanoid robot LeXiang No.1, during the Tech World 2025 event in Shanghai. Under the concept of “silicon employee“, the company demonstrates its intention to integrate intelligent agents at the heart of its business operations.

During a live session, the LeXiang robot performed a Tai Chi sequence, demonstrating balance and motor precision, as well as the ability to process business queries using internal Lenovo data.
[post_relacionado]Lenovo CTO Tolga Kurtoglu explained that LeXiang No.1 is powered by an intelligent three-layer architecture: proactive sensing through devices, cross-platform knowledge integration, and autonomous assignment orchestration. These pillars are supported by design principles focused on privacy and security.
Lenovo’s strategy in AI is based on a four-tier computing model computing model: device, edge, cloud and network. This architecture enables efficient data management from capture to processing in hybrid clouds. This ecosystem trains the AI models that power LeXiang and other Lenovo smart devices.
Following the debut of the robot, the company unveiled devices incorporating its Tianxi superintelligent agent. These include the Moto Razr AI Yuanqi Edition, the Yoga AI Yuanqi tablet, the rollable ThinkBook and the Savior 3D smart AR glasses. All share the same focus on distributed cognitive computing and efficiency-centric design.
Lenovo Company plans to showcase LeXiang No.1 again during the Beijing Humanoid Robot Sports Competition in August 2025. At the same time, the company is moving forward with pilot tests in sectors such as elderly care and healthcare, where human-machine interaction can generate high operational impact.
