The liquefied natural liquefied natural gas Ksi Lisims LNG has passed a key milestone by obtaining regulatory approval from provincial and federal authorities in Canada. The B.C. Environmental Assessment Office concluded that the project will not generate significant environmental impacts, thanks to rigorous planning and mitigation measures. The certification also recognizes the active participation of six indigenous communities in the process, a key point under the Nisga’a Nation’s Final Agreement.

Rockies LNG provides natural gas production capacity, while Western LNG offers energy infrastructure expertise.
Federal authorities endorsed the favorable Statement of Decision following a four-year technical review involving more than 20 regulatory agencies. This approval paves the way for construction to begin before the end of the year.
