During his participation in SLOM, Luca Facchetti, Sales Manager of Floatex, shared the Italian company’s vision and commitment to the development of flotation solutions, mooring and protection systems for offshore and coastal operations.

With more than four decades of experience, Floatex has established itself as a benchmark in the manufacture of products such as anchor buoys, pipe floats, underwater flotation modules, booms and navigation buoys under IALA specifications, among others.

To this end, it integrates an in-house mechanical testing laboratory to optimize the performance of the plastics used, extending the useful life of the equipment and reducing maintenance costs.
Floatex also promotes sustainability and recycling practices. The company uses recyclable materials and develops systems that facilitate the responsible recovery of components at the end of their useful life. “The environment is fundamental and we must take care of it from the beginning and at every stage of the process,” Facchetti stressed.
Facchetti also assured that Floatex is prepared to accompany the energy transition towards wind energy projects , floating LNG terminals and hybrid infrastructures. The strategy is to adapt existing solutions to new developments and, when necessary, to engineer tailor-made products that meet the specific needs of each client.
