Finland’s Betolar and Australia’s Jetcrete have entered into a partnership to accelerate the integration of low-emission shotcrete in Australia’s mining sector. The agreement gives Jetcrete exclusive rights to market solutions developed by Betolar, including Geoprime binder and CEM III mixes, designed to replace conventional cement in subway environments.
The use of low-carbon shotcrete
A proof of concept(PoC) will be launched during the fourth quarter of 2025 with financial support from mining clients. Upon validation, Jetcrete will be responsible for logistics and direct contact with operators, while Betolar will focus efforts on research, technical fine-tuning and supply chain stability.

Betolar will retain the freedom to apply its technology to other sectors, such as cement-free rock backfill, paste backfill and tailings reuse. These innovations are integrated into its artificial intelligence-driven technology platform, which promotes the circular economy by using industrial waste as a raw material in the mining market.
