From October 21st to 24th, the Equipcon Group exhibited at the annual ASNT 2024 conference at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas. The team arrived on Sunday morning to set up their booth, ensuring everything was ready for the start of the conference the next day.
The booth was busy, with partners from around the world traveling to attend the show and assist attendees and exhibitors with questions about various products. Representing their technology partner Nordinkraft, President Kirikova and Managing Director Yulia Kalashnikova provided detailed answers and solutions for those interested in the Rider Cart, a robust manual inspection trolley designed for ultrasonic inspection of plates and slabs as well as other ultrasonic solutions.

(TMS), was also present, represented by Product Manager Nick Tretola and Greg Weaver, an ASNT/NAS-410 Level III from WeaverNDT, who demonstrated one of their Resonant Inspection Systems. TMS specializes in structural vibration and acoustic sensing systems designed for a variety of applications in design, testing laboratories, and manufacturing plants.
The Equipcon team showcased their own line of equipment, including MPI and FPI systems, specifically highlighting the FPI gantry-style systems that eliminate manual penetrant rinsing and significantly streamline operations with the press of a button. They also highlighted MPI/FPI consumables from their partner ZChem, headquartered in India, which attracted considerable interest from attendees.
On Tuesday evening, Equipcon hosted its 2024 Annual Industry Appreciation Party at the Pinball Hall of Fame, held alongside the ASNT conference. Industry members gathered to celebrate the year amidst 700 vintage and modern pinball machines, classic video games, delicious food, cocktails, and music by DJ Brian Jones. It was a memorable event that allowed industry colleagues to reconnect and enjoy a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
Following the ASNT conference in the United States, Luis Cruz, Manager of Equipcon’s Mexico division, attended the ASNT 2024 conference in Villahermosa, Mexico, on October 26th. This was Equipcon’s first exhibition at ASNT in Mexico since launching the new division, providing a valuable opportunity for Cruz to connect with professionals in Latin America.
Overall, both events were tremendous successes, enabling Equipcon to reconnect with old friends, develop new connections, and share insights about the company and the field of NDT. They are looking forward to the upcoming NDTMA, Fabtech, and the next ASNT conference in 2025 at Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, and hope to see you there from October 6th to 9th.
