ACSM’s OSV Nautilus has successfully completed a modernization process that returns her to service with enhanced marine research capabilities. After several months at the Viana do Castelo shipyard, the vessel has received a new gondola equipped with the advanced KONGSBERG EM124 multibeam echo sounder, enabling her to conduct more detailed studies of the seabed.

In recent days, the Nautilus has undergone its final overhaul at the Vigo base, where it has been adapted to new technological standards to offer even more precise performance in its subsea missions.
