The company IR Supplies and Services, a specialist in products and services for non-destructive testing (NDT), commemorated its 20th anniversary at the PANNDT 2025 event, reaffirming its role as a leading distributor in Canada and its commitment to technological innovation in sectors such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and metallurgical testing.

IR Supplies accelerates the digital transformation of NDT

In a conversation with Inspenet, Andrea Zois, a sales representative for the company, shared that IR Supplies began operations in Edmonton and today has offices in Burlington (Ontario) and Quebec, covering the entire Canadian territory. In addition to offering equipment for radiography, ultrasound, hardness testing, and PMI, the firm also provides technical services such as maintenance for MPI and LPI test benches.

Synergy was the protagonist at the IR Supplies booth, which brought together more than 16 supplier companies such as Labino, Comet, Enteladyne, SIAPS, and SG NDT, exhibiting digital radiography (DR) systems, X-ray tubes, and ultrasonic equipment, highlighting the industry’s shift toward digital solutions and leaving traditional film behind.

Our strategy is to offer at least two options for each type of product we market. We focus on quality and availability, which positions us as the largest NDT distributor in the country.

Zois highlighted.

Although their primary focus is Canada, some products can be distributed to the United States, exclusively to end users.

A recent achievement in its growth was the acquisition of TED Canada in Quebec, which allows them to enter the aerospace sector, adding this niche to their experience in industries such as nuclear and automotive.

Finally, Andrea invited interested parties to visit the IR Supplies and Services website, which allows for both direct purchases and personalized consultations, reaffirming IR’s accessibility and customer focus.
