Infinium Energy Company has begun work on the Roadrunner Project, a pioneering eFuels production facility. eFuels production facility production facility in Reeves County, Texas. This development promises to transform the synthetic fuels landscape with an estimated capacity of 23,000 tons per year of sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF).
The plant will be equipped with a 100 MW HYPRPlant system, supplied by Electric Hydrogen, which will generate green hydrogen through electrolysis. This component will be key in the process of converting wasteCO2 into synthetic fuels, reaffirming the company’s commitment to low-carbon solutions.

[post_relacionado]With financial backing from Brookfield Asset Management and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, the project has already closed commercial agreements for the supply of raw materials and product sales. One of the confirmed destinations for the eSAF is the United Kingdom, thanks to an agreement with IAG, an airline conglomerate that includes British Airways and Aer Lingus.
In addition to its environmental role, the plant will contribute to regional development by generating skilled jobs in sectors such as construction, operation and logistics. This economic boost is accompanied by a contract to supply 150 MW of wind energy with NextEra Energy Resources, strengthening the use of clean sources in the process.
Infinium leads with this project the integration of eFuels in domestic and international markets, reinforcing the existing infrastructure with a sustainable option. Commercial operation is scheduled for 2027 and represents a global benchmark for the synthetic fuels industry.
