Yes, they are pricy. The mob cost is the killer for us, here in Hawaii. We have not yet used them, but thinking about it. We have a crude tank due for out-of-service in a couple more years and trying to maintain a few roof leaks until then. The 1212 and Thiokol spec we discussed seems to be a good option, but since we are not blasting, it seems to last about 1-2 years. But doing this a couple more times will probably still be more economical than Forge Tech. Thank you again for replying.
We have utilized Forge Tech before in a few scenarios; however, not yet for an active EFR/IFR leak. We recently had an opportunity to use them to seal (2) cracked EFR leg welds. It seemed like a great solution; however, their price tag led to us exploring alternative options using an epoxy/belzona composite type repair.
