Louis Dreyfus Armateurs subsidiary LD Tide has been selected to provide a high-performance Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) for the Eoliennes en Mer des Îles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier (EMYN) offshore wind farm. This contract, awarded following an international call for tenders, strengthens the collaboration with Siemens Gamesa, a leader in renewable energy .
About the new crew transfer vessel
The CTV, with a capacity of 24 passengers, will be used for the safe transport of maintenance technicians to the EMYN wind turbines . This vessel is one of two units ordered by LD Tide from Strategic Marine, a shipbuilding company specialising in aluminium and based in Singapore. The vessel is expected to be operational in mid-2025.

Expansion in the offshore wind sector
This agreement represents LD Tide’s second contract with Siemens Gamesa, following the award of a CTV for the Fécamp wind farm. The decision to expand its fleet is in response to the accelerated growth of the offshore wind sector in France.
The EMYN park will have 61 8 MW wind turbines, reaching a total capacity of 488 MW and an estimated production of 1,900 GWh per year, enough to supply 800,000 people .
