Lavender International

Lavender International is a specialized provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) training, examinations, and Level 3 consultancy services, originally established in 1976 with an operational presence in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Lavender combines accredited technical training with Outside Agency Level 3 services, supporting industrial and aerospace organizations that require certification compliance, audit readiness, and responsible Level 3 oversight, without necessarily maintaining full in-house Level 3 resources.

Core Services

• Accredited NDT Training & Examinations (Levels 1–3): BINDT-approved training and examinations across multiple NDT methods, including UT, TOFD, PAUT, MT, PT, ET, radiography, VT, and related techniques.
• Support for international certifications: PCN (ISO 9712), and support for employer-based schemes such as SNT-TC-1A, EN4179, and NAS410.
• Outside Agency Level 3 Services: Preparation and approval of procedures, technical audits, Nadcap support, and Responsible Level 3 functions.
• Structured & Accelerated Work Experience: Under an approved PCN/ISO 9712 procedure, candidates may claim up to 50% of the required experience.
• NDT Apprenticeships: Structured apprenticeship programs with external monitoring. A December 2024 Ofsted monitoring visit reported “significant progress” and 134 active apprentices at the time of review.
