Author: Ph.D. Yolanda Reyes, July 13, 2022.
Acoustic Emission (EA) is a Non Destructive Testing (NDT) method, based on a physical phenomenon that takes place inside materials. It is defined as the spontaneous energy emitted by a material, in the form of transient elastic waves.
