To kick things off, from August 26th to 30th, Maksim Borovinskikh, Deputy Project Manager from their partner Nordinkraft, traveled from Germany to Indiana to replace the probes and upgrade the software on our Rider Cart. The Rider Cart is a robust manual trolley system designed for the ultrasonic inspection of plates and slabs. It features phased array probes for detecting laminations, angle beam probes for identifying cracks using shear waves, and provisions for Hard Spot inspection utilizing Nordinkraft’s patented PEC design.

[post_relacionado]After upgrading the Rider Cart, Maksim provided the Equipcon team with extensive onsite training on how to operate the system using a sheet of metal. Following the training, he and the President of Equipcon visited several industry facilities to demonstrate the capabilities of the Rider Cart and introduce Nordinkraft to other companies in the field.
On September 10th, the Equipcon team attended the annual AIST Midwest Vendor Fair in Merrillville, Indiana, to reconnect with industry peers and introduce their company to others in the steel sector. They showcased the Rider Cart, as well as MPI/FPI Consumable Aerosols from their partner ZChem, a company headquartered in India. Joining them was Eric Culp, Business Development Manager, representing their partner Scantech, a company specializing in X-Ray thickness and coating weight gauges. Overall, the event was a success, generating potential leads and increasing their exposure in the steel industry.
Lastly, the Equipcon team is excited to announce that they will be exhibiting at Booth #610 during the Annual ASNT Conference, which will take place at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from October 21st to 23rd. They will be showcasing a variety of their own products, as well as products from their partners’ lines. The team looks forward to reconnecting with industry peers and introducing their offerings to the conference attendees.
