Saudi Arabia is moving steadily forward in its commitment to green hydrogen. Construction of the NEOM plant complex is currently 80% complete, covering both the installation of the energy infrastructure and the integration of key equipment.
NEOM project boosts green hydrogen
In detail, the project contemplates a generation network of 4 GW by means of solar and wind energy to be operational by mid-2026. The aim is to produce up to 600 tons per day of carbon-free hydrogen in the form of green ammonia, a solution intended for global export, industrial and transportation sectors.
