Gazelle Wind Power has closed a 2 million euro investment through the Deal-by-Deal Co-investment Program of Banco Português de Fomento(BPF), in partnership with Indico Capital Partners.
Financial support will boost floating wind power project
Through the backing of a prestigious institutional investor, Gazelle consolidates its confidence and offshore wind technology. This capital injection allows to strengthen the operational structure and to continue the development of the 2MW floating demonstrator “Nau Azul” located in Viana do Castelo. This project is important to validate the performance of our floating platform, optimize its efficiency and reduce the levelized cost of energy(LCoE).
[post_relacionado]The additional construction of the “Nau Azul” allows the technology to be tested and its economic viability to be demonstrated on a large scale. The facility is designed to be cost competitive and scalable, opening the door to future commercial deployments.
