Saudi energy company Aramco has announced the signing of 34 agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with leading U.S. companies. These collaborations, valued potentially at $90 billion, range from liquefied natural gas (LNG) to artificial intelligence (AI) (AI) and advanced refining.
Aramco’s agreements
In the LNG sector, Aramco secured long-term agreements with NextDecade and Sempra Infrastructure, consolidating purchases and possible participations in key projects such as Port Arthur LNG 2 and the Rio Grande LNG plant in Texas. In addition, the modernization of the SAMREF refinery, aimed at integrating advanced petrochemical capabilities, will be explored with ExxonMobil.
[post_relacionado]In addition, Aramco Digital has signed agreements with Qualcomm and NVIDIA focused on creating AI industrial computing infrastructures, 5G networks for smart devices and robotics centers of excellence. Together with AWS, they will drive the digital transformation of low-emission operations.
In the line of operational strengthening, the oil giant ratified agreements with key suppliers such as SLB, Halliburton and Baker Hughes. In addition, it signed an agreement with Guardian Glass for the local manufacture of specialized glass for the architectural sector in Saudi Arabia.
At the financial level, the company agreed to short-term cash investments through the “Fund of One” fund in collaboration with entities such as BlackRock, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, also expanding asset management with PIMCO and State Street.
These agreements reflect Aramco’s strategy to deepen relationships with top-tier partners, diversify its portfolio and enhance industrial development both in the Kingdom and globally.
