Mayman Aerospace has successfully completed the maiden flight of the RAZOR P100 , its first fully autonomous aircraft in the VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) family of drones. This achievement marks a breakthrough in the unmanned aviation sector, where the company has positioned itself as a leader in incorporating advanced autonomous control technology.

The RAZOR P100 underwent a rigorous test program at the U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. The results of the test flights were positive, validating more than 18 months of research and development. The highlight was the successful autonomous flight in which the aircraft executed complex maneuvers without human intervention, thanks to its SKYFIELD autonomous control system.

SKYFIELD , the artificial intelligence technology developed by Mayman Aerospace, enables the RAZOR P100 to adapt and navigate through complex environments, making adjustments in real time and without the need for direct intervention from operators. This seamless navigation capability represents a significant advantage over traditional UAS systems.

In addition to the RAZOR P100, the test program included successful flights of the RAZOR TBX platform, which carried payloads and performed beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations, demonstrating the extended operational capabilities of the RAZOR family of aircraft.
Mayman Aerospace will continue its efforts in 2025, expanding the operational capabilities of the RAZOR P100 and refining SKYFIELD’s autonomous decision-making algorithms for future flights in even more challenging conditions.
