Cadeler announces the expansion of its fleet with the delivery of the Wind Maker vessel at the Hanwha Ocean Shipyard in South Korea. A state-of-the-art self-elevating vessel designed for the installation of offshore wind turbines.
The Wind Maker vessel and the offshore wind industry
The Wind Maker is the first of two M-class vessels designed by Cadeler to support the demands of installing next-generation offshore wind turbines. With advanced lifting capacity and a 2,600-tonne main crane, this vessel is optimised to transport and assemble the heaviest wind turbine components.

It has the capacity to operate in waters up to 65 meters deep and its DP2 ( Dynamic Positioning ) system allows for precise and efficient positioning in offshore wind farms. These features and specifications make the Wind Maker one of the most advanced platforms in the sector.
The Wind Maker has immediate deployment contracts for offshore wind projects. Its entry into operation will allow the installation of larger and more efficient turbines, facilitating the growth of the renewable sector at a global level.
