SIARQ, a Spanish startup with more than two decades of experience in connected urban lighting solutions, launched the Solar Hub. These are smart streetlights, powered by solar energy , that illuminate the streets efficiently and also act as a real-time environmental monitoring station, contributing to the sustainability of cities.
Solar street lights with environmental monitoring
The Solar Hub replaces traditional streetlights by incorporating energy-efficient LED technology, which significantly reduces the carbon footprint of urban infrastructure. Thanks to its innovative design with parabolic solar modules, the Solar Hub allows the integration of renewable energy into street furniture, achieving a reduction of up to 1.5 tons of CO₂ per year per unit.

This data is transmitted to the Urban Brain platform , where it is analyzed in real time to make more informed urban planning decisions.
With this technology, cities can implement immediate corrective measures, such as restricting traffic in polluted areas, thereby improving the quality of life of citizens.
