Van Oord has completed the construction of the FSRU berth in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. This project, developed for Deutsche Energy Terminal ( DET ) and managed by FSRU Wilhelmshaven GmbH, aims to improve fuel distribution.

The 600-metre-long jetty was built using monopiles, a technology commonly used for ” wind turbines “, which made the installation process much quicker. Van Oord was responsible for both procurement and construction, with a total of 10 monopiles and adding platforms and walkways to complete the structure.
