VARD has signed a contract with Island Offshore for the design and fabrication of a second Ocean Energy Construction Hybrid Vessel (OECV). This agreement reinforces the collaboration between the two companies, which had already signed a similar contract in May for another such vessel with an option for two more units.
Island Offshore, the Norwegian shipping group specializing in maritime advanced maritime operations, has has decided to continue to rely on VARD’s expertise in the construction of technological and sustainable vessels.
Features of the new hybrid vessel
