Jubilee Metals, a company specializing in metals production, has achieved a major breakthrough by announcing the production of the first copper concentrate at the front-end module of its concentrator plant in Roan, Zambia. This achievement follows the previous announcement made on August 8, 2024, in which the company communicated the start of production at this facility.
Obtaining copper concentrate
Once the ore is obtained, it will be sent to Roan’s intake module, where it will be further refined at the Sable refinery, owned by Jubilee Metals, for the production of copper cathodes. This processing is a complement to the copper sulfide concentrate, because it is already generated in Roan’s milling and flotation circuit, which is distributed to the current market. The incorporation of the front-end module is an addition to the company’s production capabilities.
