Nauticus Robotics, Inc., a leading innovator in underwater robotics and software, with its project Aquanaut Mark 2has announced the successful completion and invoicing of Phase I of an ambitious four-phase contract with Brazil’s leading offshore oil and gas operator. This significant achievement marks the completion of a crucial part of the contract awarded in 2023.
Nauticus meets stringent Phase I requirements
The Nauticus Autonomous Solutions team has achieved a crucial stage by finalizing the engineering documentation and proof of concept of the vehicle Aquanaut Mark 2. These documents detail the advancements and capabilities of the Aquanaut Mark 2, confirming that it meets the demanding requirements of ten essential functionalities for deepwater field inspection and light maintenance tasks.
[post_relacionado]The reports provide a technical analysis of each required capability, factory acceptance test results for each vehicle component, and the status of testing in both controlled and uncontrolled environments. All Phase I requirements were successfully met during the second quarter of FY2024.

Nauticus integrates technology and testing for the Aquanaut Mark 2
Nauticus is currently moving forward with Phase II (Technology Integration) and Phase III (Controlled Environment Testing), which are being conducted simultaneously using an iterative approach to develop and integrate new vehicle capabilities. The final phase, Phase IV (Field Qualification Test), is scheduled to take place in Brazil, completing the project cycle.
