The plan involves installing a pressurized underground pipeline system over 45 kilometers to transport water from the Rhine to the mines being converted. RWE plans to start work at the end of this year and complete the project by the end of 2029.
On the other hand, Tosyalı has highlighted its commitment to sustainability in other areas, such as its investments in solar energy and hydrogen at facilities in both Turkey and Algeria. The company has become a leader in the production of green steel, avoiding approximately 171 million kg of carbon emissions thanks to its ecological practices. With projects such as the DRI production plant in Algeria, powered by MIDREX technology and operated with 100% hydrogen, Tosyalı demonstrates its commitment to a sustainable energy future.
