Japanese companies NGK Insulators and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) are preparing to develop a hydrogen purification system for critical components in large-scale ammonia-based hydrogen supply chains.

The project aims to build a system that purifies hydrogen by membrane separation of the hydrogen and nitrogen mixture gas .
