The pressure wave engine represents a radical change in propulsion technology, traditionally the most expensive and complex component of aircraft. This type of engine, which generates thrust through intermittent combustion inside a tube, promises to drastically reduce the cost and complexity of jet aircraft production, opening up new possibilities for applications that require fast and affordable aerial solutions.
