The National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) approved the update of the Deepwater Exploration Plan of Chevron Energía de México.

The prospect is Akna-1 Exp, which he will target in the K-Pg Gap play. According to the CNH, prospective resources are estimated at 1,435.2 million barrels of crude oil equivalent.
Chevron Energía de México estimates a total investment program of 108.84 million dollars in the Base operating scenario.
