Hempel innovates in industrial coatings
Hempel presented its portfolio of flagship products portfolio, which includes solutions for the marine industry, oil & gas and passive fire protection. Among the most outstanding innovations are:
- New generation silicones for marine applications.
- Zinc-rich epoxy coatings with innovative Avangard technology, which significantly extend the service life of assets in offshore environments.
- A new fireproof coating designed to protect infrastructure against hydrocarbon and cellulosic fires.
- A spray-applied insulation that combines anticorrosive and insulating properties meeting the highest international standards.
Flores stressed that these developments allow the company to offer multilayer systems with a durability of up to 15 years, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring the long-term integrity of the assets.

In addition, the company maintains a strong focus on sustainability, supported by its specialized team in Denmark, which works to reduce the volatile organic content (VOC) in its products.
