Genesal Energy has developed a mobile generator with the capacity to supply energy to a machine specialized in cutting wind turbine blades. This system allows direct intervention in wind farms, avoiding unnecessary travel and improving operational efficiency.
The mobile generating set and its efficient autonomy
The project was carried out together with GDES Wind, a company specialized in blade maintenance and inspection. The main objective is: to facilitate the treatment of one of the most complex components to recycle in a wind turbine.

The genset has a power output of 45 kVA in continuous operation and 50 kVA in standby. In addition, it is equipped with an IVECO FPT engine and a Stamford alternator, which is trailer-mounted and soundproofed. It also demonstrates an autonomy of up to 35 hours at 100% load thanks to a 350-liter tank. And finally, it complies with Stage V emissions regulations, making it an environmentally friendly option.
The technology created makes it possible to feed both the cutting machine and auxiliary tools. This makes it a competitive component in future wind turbine dismantling processes. dismantling of wind turbines.
